The salty wind kissed my face, leaving the scent of a restless sea. The “Hush… Hush…” sound of waves crashed the shores as if telling me to “go… go… “and then I twisted the throttle “whroom… whroom.” my motorcycle, echoing against the crashing waves, thrilling and terrifying my heart with joy and excitement.

The early morning sky was burning orange, bled into the horizon, as i twisted the throttle.

The road, curving like a serpent, was both inviting and menacing.

My heart pounded when shadows flickered through the dense palms lining the road—ghostly figures or just the tricks of twilight?

A sudden gust of wind coming from the shores pushed me sideways. Frightened, I tightened my grip on the handlebar of my motorcycle to prevent the motobike from wobble and being blown away by the gush of winds coming from the shores.

It was so scarry to ride. I inhale deeply, then gather my courage to continue my motorbike ride.

The first sight of Pondicherry’s twinkling lights was intoxicating. Exhilaration coursed through me—I had danced with the night and won.

I parked by the shore, letting the ocean’s mist drape over me. Fear had ridden with me, but adventure had led the way.
