The distance is comfortable. The scenery slowly changes from busy city roads to peaceful hills and river views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whenever I want a quick break from city life, I start my bike early in the morning and ride towards Rishikesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ride from Delhi to Rishikesh is perfect for beginners, solo riders, and weekend travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this guide, I will share my route, travel tips, stops, itinerary, and road conditions based on my own travel experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"delhi-to-rishikesh-distance-and-travel-time\">Delhi to Rishikesh Distance and Travel Time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The distance from Delhi to Rishikesh is about 240 km. If the traffic is normal, it takes around 5 to 6 hours by road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"my-usual-route\">My Usual Route<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Delhi &#8211; Meerut &#8211; Muzaffarnagar- Roorkee &#8211; Haridwar &#8211; Rishikesh<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"my-delhi-to-rishikesh-road-trip-experience\">My Delhi to Rishikesh Road Trip Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I usually start my ride at 5:00 AM from Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> In the morning, roads are empty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The air is fresh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I feel the joy of leaving urban life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After crossing Ghaziabad, traffic becomes smooth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best feeling starts near Haridwar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, the road begins to follow the Ganga River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last 25 km to Rishikesh is beautiful. I slow down my bike and enjoy the view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"best-time-for-delhi-to-rishikesh-road-trip\">Best Time for Delhi to Rishikesh Road Trip<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You may travel throughout the year.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But some months are better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"best-months\">Best Months<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>October to March &#8211; cool weather<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>February to April &#8211; perfect for motorcycle road trip, solo riders, feel the cool breeze, natural fragrance in the air in sync with nature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"avoid-these-months\">Avoid These Months<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>July and August (Heavy Rain) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Long Holiday Weekend (Heavy Traffic)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"best-stops-between-delhi-rishikesh\">Best Stops Between Delhi &amp; Rishikesh<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During my ride, I usually take short breaks.  This makes me comfortable and enjoy my ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are my favourite stops<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Meerut &#8211; Breakfast Stop<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meerut is about 70 km from Delhi.  Many restaurants serve a good breakfast.  I usually stop for tea and parantha.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Muzaffarnagar &#8211; Midway Break\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Muzaffarnagar is halfway.  You will find many fuel stations and restaurants to stretch your legs, and a quick nap would be joy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Haridwar &#8211; Spiritual Stop\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Before arriving in Rishikesh. I usually take a break.  Park my motorcycle in the parking area near Har ki Pauri.
