Rishikesh is a spiritual and adventure lover’s paradise. From serene Ganges River ghats to thrilling activities, this enchanting city offers a perfect blend of tranquility and excitement. In this blog, we present an exhilarating itinerary to help you make the most of your travel to Rishikesh and immerse yourself in its captivating beauty.

Day 1: Rishikesh Itinerary for tourist

Arrival and Riverside Exploration

The day one is arriving at your Destination Rishikesh.  Check in your hotel after 12 noon by doing all the relevant formalities.  Take rest, freshen up yourself with snacks or tea or if itโ€™s a lunch time then definitely take your favorite lunch.

After having lunch explore the nearby market.  In the evening  on the day 1 visit the iconic Triveni Ghat to witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti in the evening. Let the spiritual ambiance fill your soul.

After the Ganga Aarti, take a walk along the serene Laxman Jhula and also Ram Jhula the suspension bridges.  As you take the walk on the suspension bridge you will see the breath taking views of  the Ganga River.  You will also see the beautiful landscapes from the bridge.

Come back to hotel for a delicious dinner.๐Ÿ˜‹

Day 2:

Spirituality and Serenity

Wake up early in the morning take morning walk with beautiful sun rise and also visit to Kunjapuri Temple early morning to witness the stunning sunrise view over the Himalayas. The beautiful panoramic vista is a sight to behold.

The second destination would be to visit the Beatles Ashram (Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram).  As the Legendary Band Beatles sought their inspiration here.

Explore the graffiti-covered walls and soak in the serene ambiance.

You may also take a peaceful walk along the Ganga Beach to connect with nature and find tranquility amidst the sound of flowing waters.

Day 3:

Adventure and Adrenaline

The Adventure Day!  Today is all about adventure!  Visit to Shivpuri, the adventure hub of Rishikesh.

Here you do the river rafting expedition on the Ganga River.  conquering thrilling rapids and making memories of a lifetime.

If you are the one who want more fun and adventure then definitely you must try your hand at bungee jumping  and also the  giant swing at the Jumpin Heights, one of India’s highest bungee platforms.

Day 4:

Nature’s Embrace

Delve into the lap of nature with a visit to Neer Garh Waterfall, a serene cascade surrounded by lush greenery. Take a refreshing dip and enjoy a picnic amidst nature.

If you want more adventurous experience and want gain intense trekking experience, then head towards Neelkanth Mahadev Temple.  The temple is perched amidst the hills. In this trek you will experience breath taking views and a sense of spiritual serenity.

Day 5:

Yoga and Meditation

As you know, Rishikesh is the “Yoga Capital of the World,” start your day with a rejuvenating yoga session at one of the many renowned yoga centers or ashrams.

Engage yourself  in a meditation session to find inner peace and harmony amidst the Himalayan tranquility.

Spend your evening exploring the Rishikesh Market once again, where you can shop for souvenirs, handicrafts, and spiritual items.

Day 6:

Wildlife Encounters

Rajaji National park which is near by to Rishikesh.  You may embark on your thrilling wildlife safari to Rajaji National Park.  This is the home to diverse flora and fauna. You may Spot majestic elephants, tigers, leopards, and various bird species amidst the dense wilderness.

Day 7:

Farewell, Rishikesh

On your last day, bid farewell to Rishikesh but not without a visit to Parmarth Niketan, one of the largest ashrams in Rishikesh. Attend the evening Ganga Aarti for a soul-stirring experience.

Take one last walk along the river ghats, cherishing the memories you’ve created during your 7 day stay in Rishikesh.

Depart from Rishikesh with a heart full of gratitude and a rejuvenated spirit, promising to return for more unforgettable experiences.
